On Friday, April 6, 2019, the beauty brand Christina Agüilera released a statement announcing that the actress and writer had been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and was in a very serious condition.

“Christina Aguilers disease is terminal,” the statement read.

“Her condition has become increasingly serious and her condition is worsening rapidly.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Christina, who we have lost so much to.

She is truly loved by us all.

We ask that everyone please respect Christina and her privacy during this difficult time.”

As of Monday, April 11, the statement had only been shared a handful of times on social media.

The statement is the first confirmation that Aguilleras disease had hit the actress.

The Los Angeles Times reported that she had a rare type of cancer called leukemia.

“This disease is not life threatening,” the Los Angeles City Councilwoman wrote on Twitter.

“The diagnosis was made on April 1st, 2019 and Christina has been receiving treatment and support from the community for the past 6 months.”

As Aguilaras disease has steadily worsened, her family has become ever more vocal in their efforts to find answers.

“There is no doubt that Christina has a condition that is terminal and it is an incredibly difficult time,” the family wrote in a statement released earlier this year.

“Christina’s illness has been getting worse over the past months and the disease has reached the point where her life is at risk.

It has been an amazing journey and she is doing better each day.

Christina is a very special person and a true pioneer of this movement for social change.

I am proud of all of the work she has done to help us fight for our world.”

In March, the Aguilers issued a statement confirming that Aguerilera had died.

“I am saddened to share that I am no longer Christina Aguelera.

I love you so much,” she wrote.

“My life is over and I wish you the best in your future.

I will miss you so very much.”

“We are so sad.

We are very, very sad.

Our daughter is gone,” her brother, Miguel Aguerilleras, told ABC News.”

We are really sad,” he added.

“They were really sweet kids and really kind people, and we miss them very much.

We just want them to know that their dad loved them and was very supportive.”

The family, who has lived in the Los Angles area for more than a decade, said they hoped the news would bring closure to Christina and bring a measure of peace to her family.

“I am very sad that they are no longer together, because I would have loved to have been there for them,” Miguel Agueileras said.

“She was my best friend and she was a really strong woman.”
