Woman, 21, accused of stealing beauty product to sell online
A 21-year-old woman in the U.S. was arrested Friday on charges of stealing and selling beauty products online, authorities said.
Kathy D. Staley of El Dorado Springs, Florida, was charged with two counts of computer theft, a misdemeanor, and one count of selling counterfeit beauty products, a felony.
Stacey allegedly stole goods from websites that offered the products for sale on websites such as Craigslist and Amazon.
The charges stem from Stacey’s investigation into counterfeit beauty product sales on her own website, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Stacey was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and will appear in court Friday.
She was released on $1,000 bond.
